Nicknamed the “Big 8,” the formation features intricate patterns with a striking three-dimensional quality, set against the rolling countryside. The circle was created on 8 August 2008 (8.8.08), following the previous year’s formation on 7.7.07. Expecting that another crop circle might appear, around 400 people had gathered overnight with night-vision equipment. Witnesses reported that the field was empty at 3:45 am—yet by 4:00 am, the circle had suddenly appeared.

The flowing, continuous form of the 8 allows energy to circulate, connecting the symbolic infinity with the merkaba’s purpose of harmonizing and elevating energy.
