Shipping Costs:

We base our shipping costs on the current Royal Mail price guide.

For the UK: Our shipping costs start at £3.89

For International: The shipping cost varies depending on which country you are ordering from. 

We have a variety of shipping options available - please read each option carefully before completing your order. 

 

UK Royal Mail Shipping Services: 

Tracked 48: Delivery aim 2 - 3 working days

Tracked 24: Delivery aim 1 - 2 working days

Fully Tracked. Compensation up to £150

Special Delivery: Guaranteed next day delivery by 1pm from the day the order is posted

Fully Tracked end-to-end. Signature on delivery. Compensation up to £750. 

 

How soon will my order be shipped?

As a small village, our post office is not open all the time, therefore our general policy is as follows:

- Orders made on Monday (before Midday) or Wednesday, Thursday & Friday (before 3pm) will be sent the same day.

- Orders made on Friday (after 3pm), Saturday & Sunday will be sent Monday. 

- The post office is closed on Tuesday so orders made then will be sent on Wednesday. 

While we try our best to keep to this, various factors sometimes mean this is not always possible - staff illness, sudden post office closure etc. - but we will let you know if there will be any serious delay in shipping your order (more than 2 days delay). 

 

When will my order arrive (within UK)?

Depending on the shipping option you have chosen and the day you have ordered (please see above), you could receive your order the next working day.  

 

When will my order arrive (Outside UK)?

This depends on which country you want your order sent. Please email us at avebury@hengeshop.com to discuss this further.

Please be aware that some orders outside of the UK have been experiencing major delays that are beyond our control - It can take up to 4 weeks.

 

Overseas shipping terms & conditions

For overseas orders (outside the UK) once your parcel has left the UK we are no longer responsible for the delivery/collection of your parcel. Due to new customs regulations, you will be informed by the courier service of your country once your parcel is ready for collection. You must contact your local courier service/customs if you have any issues with the delivery of your parcel, as we are unable to deal with foreign customs/postal services.

If the item is returned to us for any reason, including, but not limited to not being collected or unable to deliver, we will get in touch as soon as it arrives back to discuss our next steps. However, if you would like to be re-sent, please be aware that the shipping costs will need to be paid by you in full before we re-send it. 

If you are expecting a delivery from us but have not received it within a month of ordering, we recommend contacting your local courier as we have found that they have not always reached out to the customer. 

Please be aware that it is also your responsibility to check your local customs restrictions before ordering.
