Avebury Henge Shop : Celtic & Pagan products inside Avebury Stone Circle

There are many theories surrounding Sheela-Na-Gig. Some say she is a fertility goddess, others say that because of her popularity on churches, she is meant to ward of evil spirits in the same ways as gargoyles etc.

The symbol of the vagina, from which all human life flows, known in India as the yoni, is also called cunti or kunda.

This figure is made by Jane Rickards and is made from Jesmunite. She sits at roughly 10cm tall.
