White Poplar - 21st Sept. - Autumn Equinox

A crown woven from the leaves of the Poplar tree which grew beside the pool of memory is said to enable the wearer to travel to the Underworld and return safely to the waking world. When Hercules wore the crown, the heat from his brow scorched the underside of the leaves, turning them white.
