Joseph of Arimathea window transfer

Self-cling and easy to reposition.

According to legend, Joseph of Arimathea arrived on the Isle of Avalon with 12 companions. He carried with him the Holy Grail, as a memento of Christ.

He buried the Chalice near the Tor on Chalice Hill, possibly by Chalice Well, the main spring in the are, which was then an island.

He is said to have built the original wattle church where Glastobury Abbey later stood.

Stained glass designed by A.J. Davis in 1936.
