Making A Purchase
Making a purchase is simple. Just browse our range of products, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept credit card payment and cheques in £ sterling. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Solo and Switch. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, surface mail or over the Internet.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling
The usual standard charge for shipping and handling up to 5 items is:
UK £3.00, EU £5.00, Rest of World £12.00.
In some cases (overseas orders) postage will be based on weight and charged accordingly. You will be advised of this before we process the order.
Delivery Schedule
We will deliver your order right away if it is in stock. As some items, e.g. gold rings, have to be made to order, there may be a delay of 4 weeks. For other items not held in stock, we will hope to send them out within 7 days. We will inform you by email of any delay.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges
17.5% VAT is included in the online prices (for orders dispatched to the UK and EU only). Books do not incur VAT.
Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Guarantee
We guarantee your satisfaction. All items are described as accurately as possible. With natural products, e.g. gemstones, measurements and colour may be approximate. Goods will be sent as soon as possible and in appropriate packaging. Please contact us by email or telephone if there is a problem with the order.

The Henge Shop does not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Returns Policy
Faulty or damaged products will be replaced or a refund sent, if returned to us within 10 days. The postage for the return will be refunded. Please inform us by telephone, letter or email before returning goods.
If goods are to be returned for other reasons, you must inform us by telephone, letter or email, within 7 days of receipt of goods. By agreement with us, the goods must then be returned to us, undamaged and unused, at the customer's own expense. Books and printed matter will not be accepted for exchange or refund unless damaged on receipt.

Remittance Terms
CHEQUE PAYMENT: Goods will not be sent until we receive the cheque by post and it is cleared by our bank. Please include order number and address with cheque. Payments by credit card or cheque will not be processed until goods are ready to dispatch.
